  • Dear Parents:

At our dismissal time, a train is generally passing across 4th street.  Recently, we were notified by several downtown businesses that Bill Reed students who are walking downtown, either to go home or go to the library, are engaging in unsafe behavior by the train tracks which could result in serious injury.  The businesses contacted Loveland Police about this safety concern as well.  Bill Reed administration has been in contact with our school resource officer and will also make an announcement to all our students at the end of the day on Wednesday reminding them to stay a safe distance from the tracks and to not engage in unsafe behavior.  As always, our primary concern is their safety.

If you have a child that takes this path home, please help us reinforce with them the need to practice safe behaviors at all times.
