Name/History:
 
The school opened in 1918 as Loveland High School. It became Bill Reed after the present Loveland High School opened in 1964. Bill Reed was a teacher, coach and Army general.
 
 
Mission Statement:
 
With the support of staff and families, LISA students, explore, express, and excel academically and creatively.  In partnership with our community, we integrate the arts to ignite enthusiasm, deepen understanding, and enhance learning for every student.
 
 
Belief Statement:
 
Winning is not about beating someone or being better than someone else. Winning is about trying your hardest to do your best. Bill Reed is a school of winners.
 
Special Programs:
 
We have several before and after school athletics, clubs and enrichment activities.  Feel free to visit our LISA and Gifted and Talented (under the "Our School" tab), Athletics, and Club tabs for further information on all the wonderful ways Bill Reed Middle School enhances the lives of our middle school students.
 
Parent Involvement:
 
The Bill Reed Accountability Committee meets the third Wednesday of each month at 9 a.m (dates may be found under the "Family & Community" tab and clicking on "School Accountability Committee". Bill Reed has many parent and non-parent volunteers. You must sign up through the Volunteer Information link under the "Family & Community" tab to be a parent volunteer within the Thompson School District.
